Australia is also home to Dead Letter Circus, an interesting rock/post-rock band that balances some actual honest-to-gods heaviness with radio-friendly (in a good way) hooks and melodies. And it doesn't hurt that the fiery concentric circle album art for the upcoming The Catalyst Fire is pretty cool.
