I'm not necessarily one of you naysayers, but I know you're out there, and it would seem that Alamaba outift ERRA knows you're out there too, because they're busy crafting the kind of metalcore that redeems the term. Take, for example, "Pulse" the new song (with accompanying lyric video) from the band's upcoming sophomore release Augment.
Heavy and melodic, chock full of chuggity chug without being 100% breakdowns, shot through with little flashes of technicality -- "Pulse" has all the hallmarks of metalcore done right. So unless you're so closed-minded as to be of the opinion that it can't possibly be done right, I suggest you check ERRA out. You might just find you dig those green eggs and ham after all.
