Song of the Humpday: Russian Circles - Deficit

     Yeah, I know, I've been behind the eight ball a lot lately. It's been a busy week, but that's no excuse. Onward and upward!



     Your song for yesterday is "Deficit", the newly-released first song from Russian Circles' forthcoming album Memorial. This one falls squarely in the "I was not aware of that" camp; I was completely unaware that Russian Circles was working on new material until a post from Between the Buried and Me in my Facebook feed alerted me to my ignorance. And boy am I glad it did, because it certainly sounds like Russian Circles have got another interesting mix of instrumental post-rock and post-metal on their hands.
