Song of the Day: Mean's End - Candle in the Dark

     I've got some new stuff for you tonight, all the way from Sweden. Those Swedes must do nothing but sit in their Ikea rooms and think about metal. It's a nice gig if you can get it.



     Your song tonight is called "Candle in the Dark", and it's the opening track from the debut album The Didact by Mean's End. You should listen if you're into djenty groove-prog underneath soaring vocals. I haven't checked out the rest of The Didact yet, but "Candle in the Dark" reminds me a little of Australian djentlemen Circles, which only gives me additional incentive to give the rest of the disc a spin.
