Song of the Day: Alexisonfire - .44 Caliber Love Letter

     They might not be a band anymore, but they're still Canadian. Because neither of us has come up with anything from either coast yet, Canadiana Week continues tonight with Alexisonfire.


     Your Alexisonfire song tonight is ".44 Caliber Love Letter" from their self-titled 2003 debut. Would that this hoodie were a time hoodie and I could turn back the clock on this now-defunct band. Maybe it's the nostalgia talking, but both this album and the follow-up Watch Out! are still in my regular rotation, which is why I can't help but think of Alexisonfire when I'm thinking Canadian bands I really dig.
