Song of the Day: Northlane - Quantum Flux

     I've seen the name of today's band crop up a couple of times online lately, touring with this band or being mentioned by that band, but I didn't check them out until this evening. Here is the result of my investigation.



     Your song today is "Quantum Flux" from Northlane's new album Singularity. It's not exactly revolutionary (djent + big breakdown = djentcore anyone? maybe melo-djent-core...) but it's kinda catchy and shows some promise in my book. If these guys diversify their portfolio and think outside the genre box a little, they could evolve into something.
