Song of the Day: Big Wreck - Inhale

     The Transitive Property of Canadian Music Goodness (I'm still working on the name) does not apply to Matt Good alone. Just as Matthew Good Band > Matt Good, so too is Big Wreck > Thornley.



     And again, I don't really know why. Thornley is still basically just Ian Thornley's baby, with him writing the songs and singing the words, but there's a certain something that gives Big Wreck songs a lightning that can't be re-bottled. That je ne sais quoi makes Big Wreck the perfect band to provide tonight's Canada Day song.

     One song comes immediately to mind as being big and epic enough for the occasion, so your song this evening is "Inhale", the opening track from Big Wreck's 2001 sophomore disc The Pleasure and the Greed. Put it on and go watch some fireworks already. Happy Canada Day everybody.
