Song of the Day: Coheed and Cambria - Key Entity Extraction V: Sentry the Defiant

     This past Tuesday saw the release of the second half of Coheed and Cambria's latest space epic The Afterman. Last October saw part one of the story of Sirius Amory, entitled Ascension, and now we've got the second half in Descension.


     I'm only just digging in to this album, so I can't say for sure yet whether it's as strong as Ascension, which was Coheed's best in years, but so far so good. But who cares what I think? Let's see how you feel about it.

     Your song today is a mouthful -- Descension's  "Key Entity Extraction V: Sentry the Defiant" -- but trust me, it's worth the time and effort required to say it. It's a rocker that's a little on the heavy side while still being as infectious and driving as any good Coheed song should be. Start your Descension with "Sentry the Defiant" and go from there.
